Avaruni Online Store

We run the Avaruni Online Store from our place in Indralok Phase 1, over in Bhayandar East. We are quite close to Queen’s Park, which is a nice bit of greenery in an otherwise crowded area. Since this is an online operation, we do not have a typical shop window for people to look at. Instead, our rooms are often filled with cardboard boxes, packing tape, and stacks of inventory waiting to be sent out. It is just a few of us working here every day. We spend most of our time on the computer managing the listings or packing up orders that came in overnight. It can get a bit chaotic when a lot of orders arrive at once, and the floor disappears under all the bubble wrap. We have lived and worked in Bhayandar for a long time, so we know the local delivery guys by name. It is not a fancy office, just a home-based setup that grew over time. Sometimes the internet goes down or the printer acts up, and we just have to deal with it. We do not really have a big corporate plan. We just want to make sure the right items get into the right boxes and reach the customers on time. It is quiet work for the most part, though the tape dispenser makes a lot of noise. We like the flexibility of working near the park.
