At Spandan Diagnostic Centre P. Ltd., we are based right in the heart of Rabindranagar. It is a central enough spot that most people can find us without too much trouble. We have been operating out of this space for a good amount of time now. The mornings are always our busiest hours. That is when the lobby fills up and the staff is running around getting everything set up for the day’s tests. We do not have any slick marketing slogans or polished brochures. Most of our information is just taped to the walls or printed on plain paper. It is a practical place. We focus on the machines and the samples more than the decor. The Rabindranagar area can get pretty humid, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes the queue gets a bit long, and we have to ask people to be patient. We are not a giant corporation; we are just a group of people working in healthcare. We try to be honest with folks about how long things will take. There is no point in making promises we cannot keep. We see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood over and over. They know us by name and we know which ones are going to complain about the needles. It is just a normal, everyday diagnostic centre doing what needs to be done. We close the shutters in the evening and head home like everyone else around here.
