Nirav Foundation

We are located in Jhapatapur, over in Midnapore West. Our office is set up at Pabitro Joseph’s place. It is just a local house, nothing too fancy or impressive to look at. We have been working out of this space for a good while now. It is a very community-focused thing that we do here. We do not have a big marketing budget or a shiny website to show off. We just do our work and stay quiet about it. Most of what we do is just helping out the neighbors and the local families with their daily struggles. We see people every single day who just need a bit of guidance or a helping hand with something. Midnapore is a busy place, but our little corner of Jhapatapur is usually okay. We have a few desks set up in the main room. There is almost always someone stopping by for a chat or to ask a quick question about something. We do not have all the bells and whistles of a big international foundation. It is just us. We have lived here all our lives, so we know what the problems are in this area. We try to stay practical and useful. We don't promise big things that we can't actually do. We just show up every morning and get to work. Sometimes it is slow, and we just sit and wait for someone to come by, but we are always here.
