Bk Agro Products is situated out in Village Chakturia, which is a good distance away from the noise of the big city. We are right near the post office in Sankoa and not far from the Kharagpur railway station. Being near the station is important because it helps us get our goods moving on the S.E. Railway lines. We work directly with the products that come from the local land. It can be quite dusty work depending on what we are bagging that day. You can hear the train whistles all day long while we are working. We have a small crew made up of people from the village. We do most of the processing and the packaging right here on the site. It is a very basic setup. There is no big lobby or reception area, just the main gate and the workspace where the machines are. The weather really tells us what to do each day. If it starts pouring rain, we have to hurry to make sure everything is covered up and dry. It is honest, hard work. We aren't trying to become some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the bags are filled properly and get to the station on time. We often eat our lunch under the big tree near the entrance when the sun gets too hot. It is a quiet life here, but we stay busy enough.
