S.P.R.Poultry Farms

S.P.R.Poultry Farms is situated in Ramreddy Pally. We have a couple of plots, Sy.No.87/A1 and 89, where we keep the birds. It’s out in the Midjil mandal, which is a decent place for a farm like ours. We’ve got several sheds that we have to manage daily. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the buildings. Poultry farming is a 24-hour job, really. Even when we aren't standing right there, we are thinking about the temperature or the feed. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves out here in the village. It’s hard work and your hands are rarely clean. We deal with the smell and the noise every single day, but you get used to it after a while. The birds need a lot of attention to stay healthy. We don't have some big corporate office in the city. Our "office" is usually just a desk in the corner of one of the sheds. We know the other farmers in the area and sometimes we help each other out. It’s a small-town kind of life. We just try to keep our farm running smoothly and get the eggs or birds ready when they need to be. There isn't any secret to it, just showing up every morning and doing the chores. We've been at this for a bit and we plan to stay right here in Ramreddy Pally. That's about all there is to us.
