Growing Ofger And Millets

Our place is out in Wadiyal village which is part of the Midjil Mandal in Mahabubnagar. If you are looking for us the house number is 6-300. It is a quiet area compared to the city and things move at a different pace here. We spend a lot of time dealing with the crops and the millets which is what we know best. Living and working in the village means you know everyone around you and they know you. It is a simple life and we prefer it that way. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We just work from the village house and manage things from there. The weather dictates a lot of what we do during the day. Sometimes it’s hot and dusty but we just get on with it because the work doesn't do itself. We started this because it was what made sense for the land we have here in Wadiyal. There isn't any big marketing team or anyone trying to sell a dream. It is just about growing things and making sure the millets are handled right. We've been here for a good while and the house at 6-300 has seen a lot of seasons come and go. It’s a practical way to live and work and we don't see any reason to change how we do things now. There is usually a bit of dust in the air during harvest time, but we are used to it by now. The village life suits the kind of business we are running here.
