L. Balasubramanian & Bros

Our place is over in Sakthi Nagar, specifically at 6/1-165, which is near the Mettur Dam in the Salem district. L. Balasubramanian & Bros has been a family-run thing for a long time. It’s mostly just us brothers and a few extra hands helping out with the daily tasks. Mettur can get really hot, especially in the summer months, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just running the business like our father did. The address is Raman Nagar P.O., and most people around here know where we are because we’ve been in the same spot for years. It's a bit of a dusty area with the trucks going by, but that’s just how it is in this part of Salem. We handle a lot of different things depending on what the customers are looking for that week. Sometimes it’s busy and we are running around like crazy, and other times it’s a bit slower and we just sit and talk for a bit. We don't have a big corporate office or a website that looks all polished. It’s just a regular shop where you can come in and talk to us directly. We like being part of the local community here and knowing most of the faces that walk in.
