Kasthuri Machine Builders

Our workshop is tucked away at 4-H in Ganesh Nagar, specifically the Extension part of Gandhi Nagar near Gounder Mills. It is a bit of a maze back here, but once you hear the sound of the metal being cut, you know you are in the right place at Kasthuri Machine Builders. We have been building machines for a long time now. The air always smells a bit like oil and hot steel, which is something you just get used to. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. It is not one of those clean, quiet factories you see in movies. It is loud and there is grease on almost everything. The post office nearby in Gounder Mills is where we go to handle all our mail. Most of our days are spent looking at drawings and trying to figure out why a part isn't fitting quite right. We use old machines and some newer ones too, whatever gets the job done. The guys in the shop have been working with metal since they were young. We don't have a big office or a secretary to answer phones. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks up the call. We take pride in the stuff we put together even if the floor is covered in metal shavings by the end of every shift. That is just how it goes here in Ganesh Nagar.
