Ganesan & Company

Ganesan & Company is right here on Kamaraj Street in Mettupalayam. We have been at this address, 23-97, for quite a while now. Most days it is just us managing the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the doors open for anyone walking by. People in Mettupalayam know us as the place that is always open early. We do not have any fancy signs or a big office. It is just a practical space where we get the work done. Sometimes the street gets crowded with traffic, especially near the corner, but we manage. We handle things as they come. If a delivery is late, we wait. If the power goes out, we use torches. It is a simple way of doing business that works for us. My father started things differently, but now we just keep it going day by day. We have a couple of desks and a lot of shelves. It is not much to look at, but it is our spot. We know the neighbors and they know us. You can usually find one of us sitting near the front, checking the ledgers or talking to a regular. We do not spend money on advertising because everyone around here already knows where 23-97 is. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. That is basically all there is to it.
