Setu Industries

If you're driving down Kalawad Road towards the Gidc Metoda area, you'll find us over at Kishan Gate. Specifically, we're at G-536 on Road No. D-2. It's a busy part of the industrial estate. Setu Industries has been operating out of this shed for several years now. It isn't a massive place, but we've got enough room for our equipment and a small corner for drinking tea. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by midday. We try to keep it tidy, but when things get busy, cleaning usually waits until the end of the shift. Most of our guys live nearby, so we're a local bunch. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go in Metoda, but we've managed to stay steady. We don't use any high-level management jargon here. We just talk about what needs to get done today and how we’re going to do it. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery is late, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. That's life in the GIDC. We put in long hours when a big order comes through, and then things quiet down for a bit. It’s a simple life. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. It's just us at G-536, keeping the lights on and making sure the products are handled right. We just do the work.
