Our place is right across from Rambo Cement on Road No. I-1. If you know Metoda, you probably know the spot. Nerolex Polyplast has been at G-2750 for a good stretch now. It’s a typical factory floor with plastic smells and the hum of motors going all day long. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high in the sky. It’s a lot of watching the gauges and making sure the plastic flows right. We aren't a massive corporation with slick suits and big meetings. It's just a bunch of us in work clothes doing the daily tasks. The office is small and usually has someone’s lunch or a pile of old invoices sitting on a desk. We spend way more time on the floor than behind a computer. Being near the cement plant means it gets a bit dusty outside, so we’re always sweeping the front area. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s just part of life here in the Gidc. We’ve got a couple of old trucks that we use for moving things around the site. People stop by to ask for directions quite a bit. We don't mind much. It’s a friendly enough area for an industrial zone. The machines have their quirks, but we know how to fix them ourselves. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We just keep the lines moving as best as we can.
