Adarsh Teachers Training College is tucked away behind the PWD office on Dangawas Road in Merta City. It’s a quiet spot in the Nagaur district where people come when they want to become teachers themselves. The building is a simple one, and we have been here for a good amount of time. You’ll see students walking down Dangawas Road every morning to get to their lectures. We have a few rooms set up for the training sessions, and there’s a small office where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a very big place, but it serves the people of Merta City well. We spend our time going over the lesson plans and making sure everyone understands how to manage a classroom. The heat in Nagaur can be quite something, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as possible during the afternoon. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist here. You just walk in and find whoever you are looking for. We know the local shopkeepers and the people living around the PWD office quite well. It’s a very local atmosphere. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a college and making sure our students are ready for their exams.
