We are based out in Vallripatti, which is part of Melur Taluk. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it gives us the space we need for the facility. At Tvs Srichakra Ltd, we focus on making tires and rubber products that people use every day. The plant is quite large and there is always something going on, whether it’s the smell of raw rubber or the sound of the presses. It isn’t always a quiet or clean job, but it’s important work for the local economy here in Melur. A lot of people from the surrounding villages work with us, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture in the area. We don't really go for big corporate talk or fancy speeches about what we do. We just make sure the production lines are running and the quality is where it needs to be before anything leaves the gate. Some days are harder than others, especially when the machinery acts up or the weather gets too hot for the workers on the floor. We just deal with those things as they come. It’s a practical business run by people who know the industry well. We’ve been in Vallripatti for a long time now and we plan on staying. It’s a straightforward operation where we just focus on getting the product out and making sure our neighbors have steady work. It's just what we do.
