Vasant Plastic Co.

Vasant Plastic Co. is situated at No. 241/1, inside GIDC No. 1. This is a very industrial part of the city, and we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. Our place is basically one big room filled with plastic molding machines and bags of raw material. It gets quite hot in here because the machines run most of the day, and there isn't much of a breeze coming through. We have been operating out of this GIDC unit for many years now. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of heated plastic. We spend our shifts watching the machines and making sure everything is coming out the way it should. It is repetitive work, but it needs to be done right to avoid waste. We have piles of finished goods stacked up on pallets waiting to be picked up by the trucks. There isn't much to the office side of things, just a desk with a lot of papers and an old telephone. The guys here have been with us for a long time, so we all know how the machines act when they are getting old. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom for visitors. If you come to see us, you are going to see a working factory floor. It is loud and a bit messy, but that is how a plastic company looks. We just keep the production going.
