If you head down to Tation Road in Unjha, you will find Unjha Ayurvedic Pharmacy. We have been here for a long time, dealing with traditional herbs and preparations. The air around the shop usually smells like dried roots and various oils. It’s a smell you get used to after a couple of days. We keep our shelves stocked with all kinds of ingredients that come in from different places. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the carts and vehicles going by. We spend a lot of time weighing out items and putting them into jars or packets. It’s a slow process because you have to be careful with the quantities. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just a regular building on Tation Road where we do our work every day. A lot of the locals come in because they’ve known us for years. We don't do much advertising. People just know where we are. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when it’s quiet. We have old ledgers where we keep track of everything. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the shop organized. It’s just the way things have always been done at this pharmacy in Unjha for a long time now.
