The Progressive Organization

We are located at 11, Shantiniketan Soc on Visnagar Road in Mehsana. It’s a well-known society in this part of Gujarat. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. The Progressive Organization isn't some high-tech firm. We are more of a local group that handles community and organizational tasks. Our office is basically a house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It has a very lived-in feel to it. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask a question. We don't have a formal reception desk or a bunch of suits. We wear what’s comfortable and focus on the work that needs doing. Visnagar Road can get quite loud with all the trucks and cars, but inside the society, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a few computers and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of things. We don't put out fancy newsletters or try to look bigger than we are. We just aim to be useful and keep things moving forward in our own small way. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We’ve survived through different seasons and changes in the town of Mehsana. We just keep doing what we do, day by day, without much fanfare. It’s just how we like to run things here for the people we serve.
