Pramukh Hardware

We are located at No G-2, right opposite the Bharat Nagar Society on Urban Bank Road. Pramukh Hardware has been a part of this street for several years. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with bins of nails, tools, and plumbing parts. It can be a bit of a maze inside if you don't know where things are kept. We spend most of our time climbing ladders to reach the top shelves or digging through boxes for a specific nut or bolt. The Urban Bank Road is usually crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We see a lot of the same faces from the society across the way coming in for small repairs at home. We aren't a big chain store, just a local hardware shop where you can actually talk to someone. We get a lot of dust from the road, so there is always a bit of cleaning to do. Sometimes the stock delivery trucks block the front for a bit, which makes things hectic. We don’t have a computer system for everything, we just know where things are by memory mostly. It’s a steady pace of work. We like the rhythm of the neighborhood and helping people find the right tool for their projects. It’s just us here, keeping the shelves stocked and the doors open for the locals.
