Christmas Gift Box

Christmas Gift Box is over by Jalaram Market, right on the Ahmedabad National Highway. If you are heading towards the Osho Ashram, we are the place right across from the Jalaram Temple. It is a very busy area with a lot of pilgrims and travelers stopping by. We mostly handle boxes and gift items all year round, not just in December. The shop gets a bit cramped because we have stacks of cardboard and wrapping materials everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The highway noise is constant, so we have to speak up when customers come in. We get a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to the city. My brother and I run the place most days. We spend a lot of time cutting paper and taping things up. Sometimes the tape dispenser breaks and we have to do it by hand, which slows us down. The temple bells across the road tell us what time it is better than the wall clock does. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just see the sign from the road and pull over. It’s a simple life. We eat our tiffin together in the back room during the quiet hours in the afternoon. It gets hot in the summer with the sun hitting the front window, but we have a small fan that helps. We usually keep some spare string in the top drawer for the larger boxes.
