Mayur Vidyut Company

Our shop is located at No. 37 Maheshwari Society, which is right opposite the college on Highway Road. Like I said, we are opposite the college, so it is hard to miss us if you are in the area. We spend most of our time at Mayur Vidyut Company surrounded by wires, switches, and boxes of electrical parts. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, and I’m the only one who really knows which box has the right fuses in it. It gets quite dusty being so close to the highway, so we are always wiping down the counters. We usually have the front door wide open to catch whatever breeze we can get, though it mostly just brings in the sound of horns. There is always a stack of orders waiting to be checked, and someone is usually in the back testing something to see why it isn't working. We aren't much for fancy talk or big presentations; people just come in when they need something specific for their house or a project. The college kids sometimes wander in thinking we sell phone chargers or something, which always makes us laugh. It’s a steady kind of life, working from morning until the sun goes down. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. We just keep doing what we do every single day until it is time to close up.
