Our company is based out in Kukas village, at Block 310. We are right near the Sobhasan railway crossing on the Mehsana Vijapur Highway. It’s a very practical location for us because the highway is right there, though the dust can be a bit much when the wind picks up. We do a lot of industrial and foresight work, which basically means we help plan out projects and manage resources. The building is simple, just some concrete walls and a tin roof for the storage side. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of maps of the local area. You can hear the trains passing by the crossing several times a day, and the whole building vibrates a little bit when the heavy freight ones go past. We have a small group of workers who live nearby in the village. Most of the time, we are just busy with paperwork or checking on the progress of different jobs. We don't have any big corporate slogans. We just try to be honest and get the work done as best as we can. We usually eat lunch together under the shade of a big tree in the back when it's not too hot. It’s a straightforward way of working and we’ve been at this spot for quite a while now.
