We operate out of Dhundariya village, which is near Pipli in the Behror tehsil of Alwar. It’s a rural setting, quite different from the big city offices you see in the news. Our work involves power transmission across the district. Being out here in the village means we are right where the lines actually go through the fields. We have a modest office space that serves as our main base. It’s quiet out here, except for the usual sounds of the countryside. We spend a lot of time talking to local landowners and checking on the equipment. The office isn't very large, but it holds everything we need for our daily operations. We get a lot of dust from the nearby roads, so cleaning is a never-ending job. Most of us grew up around these parts or have lived here a long time. We know the roads and the shortcuts through the hills. It’s a practical location for the kind of work we do. We don’t need anything fancy because we are usually out on the sites anyway. When we are in the office, we’re mostly filing reports or planning the next stage of a transmission line. It’s a simple life and the work is hard but necessary. People know us as the power company folks down the road. That’s just fine by us here.
