About Vahanvati Sweet Products – Food & Beverages in Mehsana
We spend most of our days here at Plot No. 82/2 in the Mehsana GIDC. It gets pretty hot near the stoves, especially during the summer months when the orders pile up. Most of us have been working with sugar and milk for a long time now. We started small, just a few pots and pans really. Now we have a bit more space spread across 85/5 too. People around here know us for the smell of roasting flour that drifts out into the street every morning. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workshop with tiled walls and big metal containers. We wake up early to get the first batch going before the sun gets too high. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky, but that is just part of making sweets. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork. Most of the time is spent checking the consistency of the syrup or packing boxes for the local shops. Mehsana is a busy place and being in the industrial estate means there is always noise from the trucks outside. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Some days are harder than others when a machine acts up, but we usually figure it out. That is how things go here at Vahanvati Sweet Products. We like the routine and the way things are done here.
