We’re located at unit 272 in the GIDC Area 1 in Mehsana. The 384002 area is quite busy with all sorts of factories, but we’ve been at this spot for quite a while. At Nucare Laboratories India, things are a bit different than the heavy metal shops nearby. We have to keep things a lot cleaner because of the lab work we do. It’s not a hospital or anything, just a place where we handle various tests and chemical processes. Our staff wears white coats, but they’re often stained with various things by the end of the shift. The benches are covered with glass tubes, beakers, and various sensors. Mehsana is a good place to be because of the connections to the rest of Gujarat. We don't have a big corporate culture here; we just come in and follow the protocols for the day. Sometimes the results take longer than we’d like, but that’s just how science goes. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. Most of our time is spent looking through microscopes or checking scales. The building is older, but we keep the inside tidy enough for the work. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the measurements right and making sure the lab stays running smoothly. We just do our part in the industrial estate and hope the results are accurate.
