We are over at Plot No. 93 in the Gidc. United Industries is the name, and Ashokkumar J Patel is the one running things. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. Our building is a simple one, made for work and not for looks. We have been here for a long time. Inside, it’s mostly metal and the smell of oil. We do various types of industrial work. It’s the kind of place where you have to wear sturdy boots because the floor is rough. We don't have a big staff. Just a few of us who know the machines well. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. The Gidc is a busy place to be, and there is always something going on next door. We keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the orders we have to finish. There’s a small area where we keep the tools organized, though it gets messy by noon. We don't use any slick marketing or brochures. If people need work done, they usually just hear about us from someone else and show up at the gate. It is practical and honest work. We’ve spent many years at this plot, and we don't plan on changing much. It’s just how we do things. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about what is new.
