Panchavati Oil Mill

Down here at Panchavati Oil Mill, the air always smells like roasted seeds. We are located at Plot No. 59, 60, and 61 in the Kadi Gidc Estate, which is a pretty big space compared to some of our neighbors. The machines are old but they still work well enough to get the job done every day. We spend a lot of time unloading sacks from the trucks and moving them around the warehouse floor. It gets dusty, and the floors are always a bit slippery from the oil, so you have to watch your step. We start early, usually before the sun is really up, to get the presses warmed up and ready. There is a lot of noise when everything is running at once, so we mostly just nod at each other instead of talking. Sometimes the bags tear and we have to sweep up, which is a chore. We keep the containers stacked up high near the loading dock. It is a simple business, really. We take the seeds, run them through the equipment, and fill up the tins. We do not have much in the way of a front office, just a small room with a fan and a few chairs for visitors. People come by to check on their orders and we usually just show them the stacks ready to go. It is steady work and keeps us all busy enough throughout the different seasons.
