Gujarat Engineering Works

We have been running things from Plot No. 223 in Gidc for quite some time now. It is a straightforward engineering workshop. We don't have any of those shiny new machines you see in magazines. Ours are old, heavy, and made of cast iron, but they still work just fine if you know how to talk to them. The roof leaks a little when it pours, so we have to move some of the stock around to keep it dry. It is a small shop, and everyone knows their job. We do a lot of repairs and custom parts for people who come in from the surrounding area. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that we eventually sell off. The floor is stained with oil from decades of work. We don't really bother with fancy signs or advertisements. Most people just find us because they heard we could fix whatever broke on their machine. It gets dark in the back of the shop, so we have those big hanging lights that buzz. It is just a place where we get our hands dirty and try to make things that last. We take our time with the work because rushing usually leads to mistakes. It is just a normal life in the Gidc for us, day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and work.
