Mahesh Tea Procesars Packers is based right here at Plot No. 246. If you walk by, you will likely see a lot of activity with bags of tea leaves coming in and smaller packets going out. The building itself is straightforward and fits right into the neighborhood. Inside, we have our machines for processing and the area where everything gets packed up. It is a noisy place when everything is running, but we are used to it by now. We don’t really do much besides focus on the tea. There are always crates being stacked and labels being checked. Sometimes the schedule gets a bit hectic when a large order needs to go out, and we all have to pitch in to get it done. The space isn't huge, so we have to be organized about where we put everything. We spend our days making sure the weights are right and the seals are tight. It’s honest work. The tea dust gets everywhere, on our clothes and on the desks, but that's how it goes in this line of work. We have a small crew and most of us have been here long enough to know the routine by heart. Plot No. 246 is just a regular industrial spot where we work hard and go home at the end of the shift. No frills, just tea. It is just what we do every day.
