Eklavya English Medium School

If you drive down the Unja Mehsana Highway, you will see our place right there. It is a busy road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by in the background. Being in Mehsana, we get a lot of sun, and the building stays warm. We have a simple setup here. The classrooms are lined up, and we try to keep the fans running as much as possible. Students come in from the nearby areas, some by bus and others walking. It’s a bit of a hike for some. We focus on the daily lessons. There isn't much fluff about it. We have our textbooks, our notebooks, and the teachers who explain things the best they can. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just open the windows and keep talking. The playground is just a patch of ground where the kids run around during recess. It gets a bit dusty, but they don't seem to mind. We have a small office where all the records are kept in big cupboards. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. People around here know us as the school on the highway. We just do our jobs, teach the kids, and go home when the sun starts to go down. It's nothing fancy but it gets the job done for everyone.
