Texas Laboratories

Out here at Dediyasan Industrial Estate, it is mostly about the work. We are at unit 314. It is an old building, but it does the job for Texas Laboratories. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we spend more time on the equipment than the decor. It gets quite loud during the day with all the other units around us. You get used to the sound of trucks and machines. We started this because there was a need for it here. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all walk or bike in. The mornings are the best time because it is still quiet and the air isn't too heavy yet. We have a small area for our breaks where we sit on plastic chairs and talk about the news. It is not a place for visitors really, just a place where things get done. We have a lot of stuff stored on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we need, but we know where everything is eventually. It is just a regular lab setup, nothing like what you see in movies. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the number 314 on the door. It works for us. We just keep going day after day.
