Powertech Iindustries

Powertech Iindustries is located right at Plot No. 449 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever walked through this part of the GIDC, you know it’s mostly just rows of sheds and the sound of metal clanging. We’re right next to several other workshops. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for the electrical and power-related stuff we handle. The floor is usually covered with tools and bits of wire. There’s a tea stall just a short walk away where most of us head during the mid-morning break. It’s a good time to catch up with workers from the neighboring units. The building itself has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit, but inside we keep things as tidy as an industrial unit can be. We don’t spend much on decorations because it’s a factory, not a showroom. We spend most of our hours fixing things, testing parts, or loading up small vans for deliveries. The power cuts sometimes happen, and everything goes quiet for a while, which is a bit of a relief from the noise. Our gate is usually open from early morning until late evening. It’s just us doing our daily tasks, making sure the orders are ready on time. We don’t really do much marketing or anything; people usually just find us because they know where Plot 449 is. It’s a straightforward life here in the industrial zone. I guess we’ve just become part of the landscape over the years.
