We have been here at Plot No 8 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate for quite a while now. It’s mostly just us and the machines day in and day out. Working with polymers isn't exactly glamorous, but it keeps the lights on and the families fed. The floor gets dusty pretty fast, especially when the wind picks up outside and blows through the open bay doors. Most of the guys have been with us for years, so we all know the routine by heart without having to talk about it much. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just show up, check what needs to be run for the day, and get to it. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late, and that throws everything off, but we manage to catch up eventually. The estate is usually busy with trucks moving in and out, which makes parking a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on making sure the plastic parts come out right. There isn't much to say about the office part of things because we spend most of our time out where the work actually happens. It’s loud, and it gets hot in the summer months, but that is just how this kind of work is. We keep some spare parts in the back corner in case something breaks down on a Tuesday afternoon. It isn’t a fancy setup by any means. It’s just J K Polymers, doing what we do every day.
