At Umiya Sales Agency, we are tucked into No. 37-B inside Apna Bazar on Bk Cinema Road. It is a very lively part of town to be in. Since we are right near the cinema, there is always a crowd passing by, especially when a new movie comes out. The sounds of the street come right into the shop, from the honking of rickshaws to people chatting as they walk to the market. Apna Bazar is an old place, so it has a lot of character, though the corridors can be a bit narrow and dark in some spots. We’ve got our own little corner where we keep everything we need. Most of our morning is spent opening up the shop and dusting off the shelves because the road outside brings in a lot of grit. We don't have any fancy decorations or marketing posters everywhere. We just have our products and a couple of chairs for when someone needs to sit down and talk. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Sometimes we have to step out onto the road just to get a bit of fresh air. BK Cinema Road is one of those places that never really seems to sleep. We know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. It feels like a small community inside the bigger bazaar. Umiya Sales Agency is just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily rush.
