Ashok Alco Chem Ltd.

We are located in Venkatesh Chambers, right in the Fort area of Mumbai. Our office is on the first floor, room 104. This building has been here a long time, and you can tell by the old style of the hallways and the heavy doors. It’s a bit of a change from the modern glass buildings you see elsewhere. We deal with chemicals and alcohol-related products, but mostly we are just here managing the logistics and the sales side. The streets outside on Ghanshyam Talwatkar Marg are always packed with people walking to work or grabbing tea. It’s a very old-school Mumbai feeling here. Our office is quite plain. We have some filing cabinets, a few old desks, and computers that have seen better days. We don't really have a lot of visitors, so we don't worry about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s more about getting the paperwork processed and making sure the shipments are going where they need to go. There is a lot of back and forth with the plants and the transport companies. We’ve been in this spot for quite a few years now. The staff is small, and we all know each other well. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep our corner of the business running properly. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to think.
