Gajanan Mobile

We have this small shop here in Agniveekesh and it’s usually packed with boxes and spare parts. I spend most of my time behind the counter with a tiny screwdriver and a heat gun. People come in all day with broken screens or phones that won't charge anymore. It’s a lot of fiddly work and sometimes my eyes get tired from looking at the small circuits. The shop is quite small, so if three customers come in at once, it feels very crowded. We have rows of phone covers on the walls that have been there for a long time. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked near the door. Outside, the street is always busy and you can hear people shouting and bikes revving. I keep a bottle of water and my tiffin box under the main desk. Sometimes I have to explain to people that their phone is too old to fix, but they usually want me to try anyway. We have a lot of chargers and cables hanging from hooks near the ceiling. It gets quite warm in here with all the electronics running, so the small fan on the wall stays on all day. I’ve lived in this area my whole life so I know almost everyone who walks past the shop window. It’s a simple life and the work keeps me busy from morning until late at night.
