Avinash Dal Mill

Avinash Dal Mill is located in Rokidiya Nagar, right near the Gajanan Maharaj Mandir here in Buldana. You can usually find us by following the smell of processed pulses or just asking anyone near the temple. We have been working with lentils for a long time now. The mill is a noisy place, especially when we are running at full capacity during the peak season. We have a few workers who help with the sorting and the bagging every day. It is a messy job sometimes with all the husks and dust flying around the floor, but it is honest work that we understand. We do not have a big corporate office or a website with lots of professional pictures. We just have our machines and our warehouse space. Most of our day is spent making sure the quality is okay and the bags are weighed right before they leave. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to fix it ourselves with whatever tools are handy in the shop. People from the district know us as a place that just gets the job done without any trouble. We are not interested in being the biggest mill around, just in doing enough to keep the business running and the staff paid. We usually close up when the sun sets and the temple bells start ringing for the evening. It is a good rhythm for us and we have gotten used to the hard labor over the years.
