Southern Flavours

We are located at 12-2-715/1/504, specifically in Flat No. 504 of the Megasuseela Apartments in Padmanabha Nagar. Mehdipatnam is always such a busy area with so much traffic and noise, but once you get inside our apartment building, it is actually quite peaceful. We started Southern Flavours right out of our own kitchen because we just really enjoy cooking the food we grew up with. It is not a fancy restaurant with waiters or a big dining hall. It is just us preparing meals in a home setting. Most of our days are spent chopping vegetables, grinding spices, and making sure the taste is just like it should be. The smell of curry leaves and mustard seeds usually fills up the whole hallway. Our neighbors are quite patient with the delivery riders coming in and out all the time. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on the food we make every day. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to close early, which is just part of being a small operation. It’s a family thing, really. We’ve lived in this part of Hyderabad for a long time and know the local markets well. We go out early to pick the best produce. It is a lot of hard work standing over the stove, but we find it satisfying. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the regular pots and pans we've always used.
