Meghalaya Cements Limited

We are located over at the MCL site and the Lohia House in Fanci Bazaar, which is a really busy part of Guwahati. If you have ever been to Fanci Bazaar, you know how hectic it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our EDP officer, S.V.S. Varma, stays on top of things here at Meghalaya Cements Limited. The office is right in the middle of all that Assam energy. It is not a quiet place, but it is where all the action happens. We handle a lot of the technical and data side of things from this specific site. The building is older, but it serves our purpose just fine. We have desks piled with papers and computers that have seen better days. Every morning starts with a lot of noise from the market outside. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to open the door for you. You just walk in and we get to talking about what needs to be done. It is a straightforward way of doing business. We deal with a lot of different people coming in and out all day. Some are truck drivers, some are local builders, and some are just neighbors stopping by. We don't put on any acts here. It is just us working in the heat and making sure the supplies are moving correctly through the Guwahati region. We do our best to stay organized despite the chaos outside.
