Our place is tucked away on Kurali Road, right behind Ambedkar Bhawan. If you are looking for us, we are near the cable office, which most people in Meerut City know. It’s a busy little corner. We have been running the transport and travel business from here for quite a while now. The yard gets pretty crowded with the vehicles, and there is always someone shouting about where to park. It’s not a quiet office by any means. We spend most of our mornings checking the schedules and making sure the drivers have what they need for the day. Sometimes the trucks get delayed because of the traffic in the city, but that’s Meerut for you. Behind the main building, we’ve got a small space where we keep the files and the phone stays ringing quite a bit. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction that always seems to be happening nearby. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just moving things and people from one place to another. The tea seller nearby knows all our names because we are always out there waiting for the next load to arrive. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address that people follow. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It's just a regular work day for us, trying to stay on top of the transport work without too much fuss or complaining.
