Veer Travel & Transport Co. is at Shop No 1 on Nala Road, right near Begum Bridge. Being near the Sai Mandir is helpful because everyone knows where that is. The area around Begum Bridge is one of the busiest parts of Meerut, so there is never a dull moment. We have trucks and cars coming through constantly, and the sound of the traffic on Nala Road is something you just get used to after a week. Our shop is small and we keep it simple with just the basic furniture and our ledgers. We handle transport jobs, moving goods, and arranging travel for whoever stops by. Sometimes the road gets blocked up with traffic, and we just sit outside on the stools and watch the world go by until it clears. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local transport shop. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the paperwork piles up on the corner of the desk, but the work gets done. People know they can find us here near the temple. We start early in the morning before the bridge gets too crowded and we stay until the evening rush starts to fade. It is a practical life, dealing with logistics and drivers in a very crowded part of the city. We just keep the records straight and make sure the vehicles are where they should be.
