V K Knitting Industries is located at 10, Garh Road in Meerut. You’ll find us right across from Hotel Harmoney. It’s a pretty easy spot to locate if you’re coming down Garh Road. Meerut is known for its industries, and we’ve been part of that for quite a while. Knitting is what we do, day in and day out. The machines make a constant clicking sound that you eventually stop hearing after a few weeks of working here. It’s just background noise to us now. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but the equipment inside is what matters. We aren't big on appearances. We’d rather have a machine that works perfectly than a fancy front door. We have a small team of workers who have mostly been with us for years. We know each other’s families and stories. It’s not a corporate environment at all. If someone needs a day off for a wedding, we just figure it out. Being opposite Hotel Harmoney is handy because visitors always have a place to stay nearby. We don't spend any time on fancy brochures or websites. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. Garh Road is busy and dusty, but it’s where we belong. We just keep the needles moving and try to do a good job. We sometimes have to stop for a bit when the old generator kicks in.
