Suraj Store

Our shop is Suraj Store, and you can find us at Subhas Chock in Mawana. We are right on the Tahsil Road, which is a busy stretch in the Incholi area of Meerut. Being near the crossroads means there is always something happening outside. We see the buses and tractors passing through all day long. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep the shop looking okay. Inside, we have packed the shelves with everything we can fit. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We handle everything from household goods to small snacks. The daily routine is quite predictable. We arrive, get the lights on, and wait for the first customers from the surrounding villages. Many people come here when they visit the Tahsil office. We don't have a big team, just family and a couple of helpers. We've been part of this Meerut community for quite a few years now. The weather gets really cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, which affects how many people are out on the street. We just sit on our wooden chairs and wait for the next person to walk in. We don't go in for any big sales pitches. We just tell people what we have and how much it costs. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit tiring by the evening when the sun starts going down.
