Super General Store

Our store is right in the main market area of Kasimpur in Sanik Colony. It is near Begum Bridge in Meerut, so it is a very central spot for people to visit. We sell all kinds of general items that people need for their homes. From soap and toothbrushes to snacks and some basic groceries, we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. The racks are always packed, sometimes a bit too much, which makes it hard to find things quickly if you are in a rush. We have been here for many years and have seen the local kids grow up and start coming in with their own children. It is a typical neighborhood shop. The floor is made of old stone and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but it still works fine. We do not have a computer system or anything like that; we just write things down or remember the prices in our heads. It is a bit dusty because of the busy road outside, but we wipe the counters down every single morning. During the festivals, the market gets so crowded you can barely walk, and our shop gets packed with people buying last-minute things. We stay open late most nights because that is when the office workers come home. It is a lot of work stocking the shelves and dealing with the daily deliveries. We do not have any helpers.
