We have been here at No. 110 Rastogi Street for a while now. Subhash Bazar is always crowded, and it gets quite loud outside with the rickshaws and people shouting for space. It’s a busy spot. Our shop isn't huge, but we make it work with the metal shelves we have lining the walls. We spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes that come in and trying to find a place for everything without making a mess. Sometimes the ceiling fans don't work right when it’s hot, but we just keep going. People come in looking for different styles, and we try to show them what we’ve got on the racks today. It’s mostly just us two here handling the orders and making sure the floor stays somewhat clean. Most days are long. We open early when the sun is just coming up over the buildings and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is a small tea stall nearby that we visit often for a break. Dealing with the stock takes up a lot of time, especially when new items arrive and we have to reorganize the whole back section. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, honestly. But that’s how it goes in a place like this. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. If someone is looking for Pari Fashions, they usually just ask around and find us near the corner. It’s just a regular local shop.
