Raj And Sons is tucked away in Gali No. 8 in Subhash Nagar. If you know where the B. S. E. Fort is, we aren't far from there at all. It’s a busy little spot and sometimes the lane gets crowded with carts and people. We’ve been at 593/3B for quite a while now. It’s a family thing, mostly. My father started things years ago and now we just keep the doors open every single day. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find things if you don’t know where to look, but we know where everything is kept. We spend most of our time talking to neighbors and people who stop in for their usual stuff. It gets noisy outside with all the traffic and the other shops nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just write things down in the ledger and keep track of who owes what or what needs to be ordered. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. It’s a simple setup. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and stay until the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Most people around here know us by name now, and we know them too. We just keep things moving without making a big fuss about it.
