Soni General Store

Soni General Store is just a regular shop on Ambedkar Road. We have been here in Kanker Khera for quite some time now. If you live around Meerut, you probably know where the Kankerkhera Market is. It gets really busy in the Main Market during the evenings. Our shop is located near Ajanta Palace, right in Bada Bazar. We sell the things people need every day. There is nothing fancy about the place. It is just shelves full of items and us behind the counter. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but that is how life is here. People stop by on their way home to pick up a few things they forgot. We know most of our customers by their faces since they live nearby. The shop opens early and we stay until late evening. It is a family thing, really. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the stock is there. If we run out of something, we try to get it the next day. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the summer. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most folks come here because they know we are here and they don't have to go far. It is a simple life running a store in Kanker Khera. We just keep things moving and talk to the neighbors when they come in for their groceries.
