Sm Hospital

We have been situated here in Shastri Nagar for quite a few years now. Most of the people living around the neighborhood know our building because of the faded sign hanging over the main entrance. It is not the most modern or fanciest place you will ever walk into, but we keep the floors scrubbed clean and the lights working. Usually, the mornings are our busiest time because folks like to come in for their checkups before they head off to their own jobs. We have a small group of doctors who have stayed with us since we first opened, and they know many of the families around here by their first names. Sometimes the waiting area gets really crowded, especially when the seasons change and everyone seems to catch a cough or a fever at the same time. We just try to get through the daily schedule and help whoever walks through the door. The parking outside on the street can be a real headache during the afternoons, so most of our local patients just walk over from their houses. We do not have a big polished reception desk with fancy computer screens everywhere. It is mostly just us with our clipboards and trying to make sure everyone gets seen in a fair amount of time. People come in with all sorts of health concerns, and we just do what we can with the tools we have. It is a lot of work every day but we like the neighborhood.
