Shri Clinic

Our little place, Shri Clinic, is tucked away in gali no 8 over in bahansingh colony. It’s not on a main road, so it’s mostly just the locals from the colony who ever stop in. The street outside is narrow, and sometimes it’s hard for cars to pass each other, but it keeps the area feeling like a tight community. The clinic itself is just one main room and a tiny area behind a curtain for examinations. We have some plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait, and there’s usually a newspaper from yesterday lying around. We don’t have computers here; we just use a big ledger to write down names and what people paid. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and we don’t see a reason to change it now. The walls are a pale blue color that’s faded over the years, and there are some calendars hanging up from businesses nearby. We see a lot of the same people over and over, so it feels more like visiting a neighbor than going to a doctor. We handle the basic stuff, like cleaning cuts or giving out pills for a stomach ache. Bahansingh colony is a quiet place and we like being part of it. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who show up every day to keep things running for the neighbors. It's just us here.
