Our business is located in Shastri Nagar, specifically on Nai Sarak. It’s an old area and the building we’re in has been around for a long time. We have a long name, but most people around here just know us by the family name. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for years. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, and it can be hard to navigate if you don't know where things are kept. We don't really use a computer for everything; a lot of our records are still kept in handwritten books. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. The street is narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a pain when the big trucks try to come through. We usually have to go out and help them unload the bags. It’s a lot of physical work, especially in the summer heat. We have a few loyal workers who have stayed with us through everything. We don't have a website or a fancy logo. We just open the shop every morning and wait for the regulars to come by. Sometimes it’s slow, and we just sit and drink tea, but other days we’re running around until late. It’s a traditional way of doing business, but it seems to work for us. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We just keep the door open and stay busy with the daily chores.
