At Laser Acupuncture Clinic And Research Centre, things are usually pretty quiet. We are located at No. 9/6 Nai Sarak, right in Shastri Nagar. It’s a bit confusing because people call it Nai Sarak Shastri Nagar Nai Sarak, but we just know it as home. The street outside can be quite loud with people moving about, but once you step inside, the thick walls block most of that out. We decided to focus on lasers because a lot of people who come to see us are actually quite terrified of regular needles. It is a bit of a funny thing, seeing a grown man get nervous about a tiny pin, so the laser makes things much easier for everyone involved. The research side of things takes up a lot of our spare time. We have stacks of journals and papers piled up on the side tables in the office. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, and we keep meaning to get that fixed, but we just haven't gotten around to it yet. Our space isn't very large, but it has enough room for the treatment beds and our desks. We drink a lot of tea between appointments and talk about how the neighborhood has changed over the years. Shastri Nagar used to be much emptier than it is now. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because their neighbor told them about the place.
