Shashi Makeup Art

Shashi Makeup Art is my personal project based out of Pragati Nagar on the Main Road in Meerut. Finding the place can be a little tricky because it is tucked away behind the LIC petrol pump and right near the old atta chakki. I do not have a big storefront with glass windows. I work from a dedicated space that is more like a studio than a shop. I mostly focus on doing makeup for weddings and special events. I started doing this because I had a talent for it and my friends kept asking me to help them get ready. Meerut is a place where people really care about how they look for functions, so I stay pretty busy during the winter months. My setup is simple with good lights and a big mirror. I do not have a whole team of assistants. Usually, it is just me. I spend a lot of time cleaning my brushes and organizing my kits. I do not use any corporate language or have a big mission. I just want to make sure the person in the chair is satisfied with how they look. Most of my clients come to me because they saw my work on someone else. It is a small, honest business that I run with a lot of care. If you are looking for me, just head toward the petrol pump and look for the lane near the mill.
